To obtain the IP address on your Yealink Desk phone please do the following:
1. Press the tick icon button or 'OK button on the phone (as shown below in red) - this will then display your phones IP address
2. Enter the IP address into a web browser (please note the PC you use must be connected to the same network as your phone)
3. To access the web interface for your Yealink phone please enter a user name and password which is 'admin' for both in lowercase to gain access to the web interface for your phone.
Please note that for some Yealink phones the last 6 digits of the Mac address (found on the bottom of the phone) is needed for the password.

That means that the IP addresses will change over time or when the device has been restarted.
The device or your entire network will get a new IP address. However, if you have a static IP address it will not change over time like this.
Most people have dynamic public IP addresses because it's easier for your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to manage.
However, if you would like a static IP address you can request it from your ISP, but in most cases, you will have to pay an additional fee for it.
A static IP address isn't necessary unless you are hosting a server that others access.
